Did you say, "Free movie?" GHC's Wellness Center presents SCREENAGERS.

Heliana Vargas

GHC's Wellness Center would like to invite you all to watch the documentary, Screenagers, over winter break.

Screenagers is a documentary created by Dr. Delaney Ruston about the impact of technology on the teenage mind. It is a film to encourage discussion and reflection on how to navigate the balance between our emotional health, social life, and technology. Both parents and students are encouraged to watch the film in order to have a conversation and reflection.

Access the event page to reserve a ticket. A confirmation email will follow and will include a link to the movie, accessible between Friday, December 17, 2021 to Monday, January 10, 2022.

There are a limited number of tickets, so make sure you reserve yours today!

We are also providing you with a parent moderator sheet. Dr. Ruston created this guide to offer some parenting tips, discussion questions, and resources regarding technology as you engage with your student(s) in conversation and reflection.

GHC Social Workers will host a follow-up presentation and Q&A on Thursday, January 27 at 6:00 p.m. Please click here to register.

We encourage you all to watch this film whether it is with you, your partner, or your family. We hope you enjoy this break with your loved ones and happy holidays!
