Health Office
Health Office
The GHC health office aims to ensure the health and safety of all students. We share in the responsibility of directing growth towards the achievement of each student's maximum potential, which enables successful, lifelong learners and responsible global citizens. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, healthy students are better learners.
GHC School Nurses are California Registered Nurses (RNs). In addition, the School Nurse possesses a California School Nurse Services Credential and is CPR certified.
For Parent/Guardians
If your child is requesting ibuprofen (Advil) to be taken at school, we need a completed and signed ibuprofen medication request form from you.
Please use the link: Ibuprofen Request Form to allow the health office to provide your child with ibuprofen. Once you have filled out the form, please email it to healthoffice@ghctk12.com. If a student needs ibuprofen, they may come to the health office with a pass; they are not allowed to carry the medication with them.
Please be advised that this form needs to be renewed every school year. Make sure to send us an updated form at the beginning of each school year.
