Summer Transition Academy

High School Program

STA is a GHC graduation requirement. In order to participate in the GHC graduation ceremony or receive a GHC high school diploma, students must complete STA.

Students are enrolled in STA during their scheduled counseling appointment. Students will earn two and a half elective credits per class for the successful completion of STA.

Summer School

High School Program

Please note that ALL policies as described in the Parent-Student Handbook* are consistently observed throughout the school year, including summer.

Schools and Districts are NOT required to offer regular Summer School Programs, thus attending Summer School is an opportunity and privilege.

Failure to adhere to the below policies will result in termination of Summer School enrollment and a final grade of a fail in classes.

The Wellness Center is closed until school resumes in August.  Students who need mental health support can reach out to the Counseling Office or call 988. The Deans' office is open 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
