Middle Years Programme

What is MYP?

The MYP serves students in grades 6-10. Our instructional programme encourages students to make connections between their studies in the classroom and their experiences in the real world.

The MYP fosters the development of communications skills, understanding intercultural identities, and global/civic engagement - essential qualities for life in the 21st century.

At GHC, we have an extensive range of courses and subjects for students to choose from. In addition to our programme preparing students for high school and college, our commitment to community service and outreach activities supports our students in becoming socially conscious and responsible young adults.

The MYP at GHC further reflects the intercultural identity and diversity that is at the core of the IB framework. Students learn in a community of peers who inspire, challenge, and encourage one another to be their best selves.
