Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM)
Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) is a clustered program that focuses on an integrative approach to science, mathematics, technology and engineering and allows for real-world application and STEM career readiness. Students in the STEM program are expected to take four years of foundational science and mathematics courses that go beyond the graduation requirements. This program integrates coursework and skills in language arts, mathematics, and science that culminate in a STEM-related research project. Students in this program can complete the Engineering and Architectural Industry CTE pathway.
STEM Biotechnology
A notable offering within the STEM program is the Biotechnology pathway, designed for students interested in the medical field. This pathway includes Biomedical Science (grade 9), Human Systems (grades 11/12), and Biotech dual enrollment community college courses.
STEM Engineering & Mathematics
A second option for students within the STEM program is the Engineering & Mathematics pathway.
