Career Technical Education (CTE) gives students the chance to experience various careers in a real-world environment where they learn job skills and business practices to launch a career or attend a post-secondary institution. These courses help students obtain hands-on cutting edge training in industry fields and receive training from experienced industry professionals. Classes are designed to help young people develop the competence, confidence, critical thinking skills, and hands-on skills that will ensure successful careers and college readiness upon graduation. Certifications are available in each of the pathway programs: Automotive Technology, Business and Finance, Culinary Arts, and Engineering.
Grades 9-12

All programs offer full access to honors courses, AP courses, IB courses, and preparation for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program and AP Capstone in grades 11 and 12. All courses in every program are accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and are transferable to schools throughout the United States. Students who graduate from Granada Hills Charter (GHC) and earn a C or better in the required courses will meet the UC/CSU “A-G” subject area requirements and the NCAA course requirements unless otherwise noted in their Individualized Education Plan.
