Invest in Student Success: Support the 2026–2027 Excellence Fund

As we prepare for the 2026–2027 school year, we invite our families and community to help us continue investing in the programs and experiences that make a GHC education exceptional by supporting this year’s capital funding campaign for the School’s education foundation, the GHC Excellence Fund.

The impact of our community’s generosity was evident throughout the 2025–2026 school year, when Foundation funding helped sustain a wide range of academic, arts, leadership, and competitive programs that gave students opportunities to learn, lead, compete, and perform beyond the classroom.

$50,000 Invested in Student Programs in 2025–2026

During the 2025–2026 school year, ten student programs submitted funding requests. With $50,000 available for student program support, the Foundation allocated funding across all ten programs, providing meaningful assistance while prioritizing broad student participation and program needs.

Because of your generosity, the GHC Excellence Fund was able to support Band, Choir, Robotics, Model United Nations, DECA, Dance, Speech & Debate, Academic Decathlon, Mock Trial, and Jazz Ensemble.

These funds helped offset the costs of competitions, performances, travel, equipment, registration fees, and other expenses that made these important student experiences possible. From the arts to academic, STEM, leadership, and civic competitions, these experiences helped students build confidence, strengthen skills, pursue their interests, and showcase GHC excellence at the local, national, and international levels.

Building on Last Year’s Impact

Last year’s $50,000 investment demonstrated what is possible when our families and community come together in support of students. Foundation support helped expand learning beyond the classroom and provided students with meaningful opportunities to collaborate with their peers, develop their talents, take on new challenges, and proudly represent GHC.

As we look ahead to 2026–2027, our goal is to build on that impact.

The GHC Excellence Fund allows families, alumni, and community partners to invest directly in the continued excellence of our school. Every contribution helps provide the programs, resources, and opportunities that enrich student learning and allow our students to thrive.
