Granada Hills Charter Student, Samuel Avendano, Named California State Youth Ambassador

Granada Hills Charter (GHC) is proud to announce that Samuel Avendano, a distinguished student leader, has been selected to serve as a California State Youth Ambassador by the Young Center for Academic & Cultural Enrichment. This prestigious role recognizes Samuel’s dedication to leadership and service through the California Youth Think Tank program, where he has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to student advocacy and educational policy.
As part of his responsibilities, Samuel will serve as Youth Education Liaison, working closely with school administrators, local officials, and state representatives to identify and address barriers to student success. His role will involve conducting interviews, gathering data, and contributing insights to help shape education policies that support student achievement throughout his district.
