GHC Student Spotlight – Emil Mitev Joins the Jazz Empowers Student Advisory Council!

Granada Hills Charter (GHC) is proud to celebrate a remarkable achievement by one of our talented Jazz students, Emil Mitev. A skilled bassist in both our Jazz Ensemble and Jazz A Combo, Emil has been selected to join the prestigious Jazz Empowers Student Advisory Council, an honor reserved for exceptional jazz students from across the nation.

As a member of this elite council, Emil will participate in monthly virtual meetings alongside a select group of young jazz musicians. He will have the opportunity to collaborate with like-minded peers, share updates on GHC's Jazz program, and contribute ideas to strengthen and promote jazz education across the country.
