Speech & Debate Students Excel at Recent Tournament
The recent Speech & Debate tournament was a tremendous success for the GHC community, highlighted by strong student performances, outstanding volunteer support, and an energetic campus atmosphere. The event ran smoothly throughout the morning, afternoon, and evening, with the PTSA present all day selling food in the quad, while students supported the tournament by selling snacks throughout the day.
The GHC team performed exceptionally well, with 15 students advancing to the finals across a variety of events. Finalist awards ranged from first through seventh place, and GHC earned multiple top-seven finishes, reflecting the depth and strength of the program.
