Granada Hills Charter Student Wins Second Place in Districtwide Rotary Club Art Competition

Granada Hills Charter student, Lauren Park, took home second place in the Rotary Club Pageant of the Arts District Competition this past Spring—a remarkable achievement that saw her rise above juniors and seniors from across the Los Angeles region.

After winning at the local level, Lauren advanced to the district round where her stunning artwork earned her $700 in prize money and the admiration of judges and peers alike. The event, held at Nickelodeon Studios, showcased some of the most talented young artists in Southern California—and Lauren made her mark as one of the best.

Her success is not only a reflection of her artistic skill and dedication but also a shining example of the opportunities available through community partnerships.

We encourage families and community members to learn more about the incredible work the Rotary Club does by attending their weekly luncheon every Thursday at the Porter Valley Country Club. It’s a great way to connect, support local youth, and be inspired by stories like Lauren’s.

Congratulations, Lauren—we are so proud of you!
