GHC's Class of 2029 Accepts Rachel's Challenge

Every year, our Summer Transition Academy students are presented with Rachel’s Challenge to prevent school violence and bullying. Our students were respectful, attentive, and engaged.

Following a powerful presentation from Ms. Veda Tucker, students accepted Rachel’s Challenge by signing their names to a banner that will hang all year long as a reminder of our commitment to:

  1. Look for the best in others
  2. Dream big
  3. Choose positive influences
  4. Speak with kindness
  5. Start your own chain reaction

Reflecting on our responsibility to one another, students are already setting the tone for this coming school year.
