PREAMBLE: These guidelines support the belief of the GHC community that the goal of a good education is not just academic learning but is also the development of a strong and admirable character. To that end, these policy statements are designed to inform and assist students, teachers, parents and administrators in promoting honesty in all aspects of schoolwork in hopes of enabling students to acquire honor and self-respect and to experience genuine academic achievement. The Academic Integrity Policy applies to all testing on any GHC site, including Advanced Placement Testing and International Baccalaureate Testing. GHC uses turnitin.com and other electronic resources to assist teachers with the identification of plagiarized content. “BUILD FOR CHARACTER, NOT FOR FAME.”
