Here's how Mr. Kim's students will change the world

As we near the new year, we're launching a new series to showcase our GHC community and share their goals for the spring semester.
Mr. Kim joined GHC's TK-8 program in the fall and we are proud to welcome him into the Highlanders family as a second grade teacher in our TK-8 program.
His goal for the year is to teach his students how to make the world a better place through caring for one another despite any differences, and learning to live harmoniously.
Mr. Kim's life motto comes from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s 'Loving Your Enemies' sermon; "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that."
Fun Facts: He's a huge Dodgers fan, enjoys Starbucks, and absolutely adores his yorkipoo, Soonee (순이). He once memorized the lyrics to "Satisfied" from Hamilton, just to get some free ice cream.
Let's show Mr. Kim our support in accomplishing his goal this year!
