Girls Who Code's Two-Day Hackathon Will Take Place May 7-8

Clubs are a great way to get involved in school activities, meet people, and make lasting friendships. The high school program at Granada Hills Charter (GHC) offers nearly 80 clubs of which students can choose to a part.

On May 7-8, the Girls Who Code club will host a two-day hybrid hackathon at the Zelzah campus entitled "Highlander Hacks." The event is open to students in both middle and high school. No experience is needed, and participants will have the opportunity to win a cash prize!

  • Saturday, May 7 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. in person
  • Sunday, May 8 from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. virtually

Students can sign up through the club's Google Form. The event will take place in Highlander Hall on the high school campus located at 10535 Zelzah Avenue, Granada Hills, CA 91344. Proof of vaccination and student ID is required for all individuals age 12 and older. Masks are also required indoors.
