Music Producer Joe Kahjadourian (Class of 1999) of The Futuristics has collaborated with the industry’s top artists, scored for blockbuster movies, and always gives back.
Meet Aryanna Baytop, a first-year student at Tulane University who graduated last year from Granada Hills Charter High School in the San Fernando Valley.
Rita Bedoyan, 2011 alumni is a UCLA graduate currently pursuing her masters in counseling psychology. An assistant in the College and Career Office, she advises students not to be too stressed by the challenges of high school.
GHC is searching for Test Proctors and Test Proctor Readers for AP testing. This is a seasonal position during the month of May. Application deadline is March 22, 2022 by 8:00 a.m. The pay is $18 an hour for proctors, and $25 an hour for readers. Applicants must show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Join Our Mission
We enrich Granada Hills Charter’s (GHC) impact by serving as a gateway for alums of all identities, backgrounds, and experiences – across the globe and in our neighborhoods – in order to create and deepen belonging as a GHC Highlander. The purpose of the GHC Alumni Association is to:
- Friend-raise and set up networks of communication among GHC alumni.
- Act as a resource for class reunions and events.
- Develop and maintain the Highlanders Alumni contact information for events and communications.
- Develop projects that involve alumni such as campus improvement, booster activities, and classroom volunteers.
- Act as a resource for the school in providing speakers, volunteers, job shadows, and funding.
- Work with the GHC Excellence Fund to raise money for student scholarships, school grants, and athletic, art and academic programs.
All Highlander graduates and former teachers of Granada Hills Charter (GHC) are automatically members of the GHC Alumni Association. We do not have a paid membership, but request that you all SUBSCRIBE to our member list to stay connected.
The Excellence Fund
The Excellence Fund helps our students and staff achieve great things. At GHC, we have a goal to elevate our enrichment opportunities for students during these challenging times. Our students have had to sacrifice so much by being isolated from their peers and our goal is ensure our students have the resources they need. Contributions support the operating budget of Granada Hills Charter High School and enable us to offer the high standard of education required to prepare students for life. Since becoming an independent charter school in 2003, we have used our resources to distinguish ourselves as a leader in public education.
