Community
Alumni
Our alumni enrich the impact of Granada Hills Charter (GHC) by serving as a gateway for alumni of all identities, backgrounds, and experiences – across the globe and in our neighborhoods – in order to create and deepen belonging as a GHC Highlander. All Highlander graduates and former teachers of Granada Hills Charter (GHC) are automatically members of the GHC Alumni Association. We do not have a paid membership, but request you SUBSCRIBE to our member list to stay connected.
Parents
As a community, we all need to work together to support and empower our students. Being a charter school, it is even more critical that parents, students and faculty are active participants in the daily activities at GHC. Organizations such as our Parent, Teachers, and Students Association (PTSA) hold meetings designed to support our parents in being informed about the issues impacting our students. Our goal is to have all parents and guardians be as active as they can be in their student’s education.
Staff
Granada Hills Charter (GHC) exists to create student-centered environments to develop academic curiosity, practical skills, and positive attitudes that enable successful, lifelong learners and responsible global citizens. Such an endeavor begins in the workplace, amongst our staff and faculty, leading by example. Modeling positive attitudes in a culturally diverse environment is the School's expectation on our two campuses. To do that well, we employ a workforce dedicated to our students' successes.
Students
As America's largest independent public school, Granada Hills Charter (GHC) provides a broad educational experience beyond the classroom. We offer more than 60 clubs and activities that reflect the philosophy of a student-centered school. These organizations represent the most accessible avenue to being connected on campus. Joining a student organization provides avenues to meeting new people, gaining leadership skills, and increasing educational and extracurricular interests.
