We’re committed to easy access for everyone
Granada Hills Charter (GHC) is committed to making our website as accessible as possible to everyone, including those with visual, hearing, cognitive and motor impairments. We're constantly working towards improving the accessibility of our website to ensure our community can readily access the educational services we provide, both in our physical locations and on our website. The School has undertaken efforts to comply with the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0, Level AA (“WCAG-2.0 AA”), a set of guidelines adopted by a private group designed to maximize accessibility of web content. We routinely engage and utilize a third party accessibility platform through our website provider, to conduct an accessibility audit of our websites and provide us with specific recommendations that will assist us in ensuring that our web presence is in conformance with the WCAG 2.0 AA.
Please note that our website may link to, or interface with, third party websites that we do not control. These third-party vendors may not have undertaken the efforts that GHC has to comply with WCAG-2.0 AA standards. In order to maximize accessibility with our community, we are working with our vendors to encourage them to voluntarily comply with these standards. We have also engaged in discussions with our regulatory agencies and elected officials to discuss the need to adopt clear guidelines that apply to both educational institutions and vendors alike.
As the law and accessibility standards continue to change and we strive to deliver the most up-to-date content online, please understand that our efforts to improve online accessibility are ongoing. We encourage you to report any accessibility issues you may encounter by contacting us at communications@ghcTK12.com or at (818) 360-2361 ext. 392 so we can assist you. If you do encounter an accessibility issue, please be sure to specify the webpage and we will make all reasonable efforts to make that page accessible. We also encourage you to contact us to determine if any alternative communication methods or accessibility formats are available.
We thank you for your assistance in enhancing the accessibility of our website and we look forward to serving your educational needs.

It's important to us to be active and involved in the accessibility community. Granada Hills Charter (GHC) is a Gold Ribbon Award-winning school for special education and our co-teaching program, supporting students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in the general education setting. Our services and programs have been designed to meet a variety of students’ educational and social-emotional needs including Autism, intellectual disability, specific learning disability, emotional disturbance, deaf or hard of hearing (DHH), speech and language impairment, vision impairment, and other health impairment eligibilities. A service provider for LAUSD to offer specialized support for the Deaf or Hard of Hearing (DHH) and an alternate curriculum for students with intellectual disabilities (ID), we are grounded in the philosophy that all students can learn.
