Enrollment Applications
Families of students interested in attending GHC must apply through a lottery application to attend an independent charter public school.
Application Window 2025-2026: October 1, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. - December 2, 2024 at 3:00 p.m.
All TK-12 applicants regardless of their home address must submit an application. Although enrollment preferences per our charter petition are available (see below), a lottery for admission will be utilized if there are more applicants than available space.
Siblings: An enrollment application must be submitted for each sibling. Applicants with a sibling who will graduate in May of 2025 are not eligible for a sibling preference.
Lottery Drawing
The lottery application window for the 2025-2026 school year runs from October 1, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. until December 2, 2024 at 3:00 p.m.
Post Lottery: If your lottery application is not received by December 2 at 3:00 p.m., your application will be considered post-lottery. Post-lottery applicants will not be included in the lottery drawing. Late applicants will be placed at the end of the waiting list after the drawing. They will be placed in the order of submission. Post-Lottery applications will open after 3:00 p.m. on December 2.
Late Entries: Applications may be submitted after the December 2 deadline and will be considered after the lottery drawing. At that time, late applications will be placed on another, late application waitlist in the order they are received. Applicants on the late application waitlist will be contacted after the original waitlist for those who applied on time has been exhausted.
Admissions & Waitlist: From the lottery drawing, a list will be created of those students who will be offered admission and those who will be on a waitlist. Applicants will be notified by email on December 12, 2024. Applicants who apply for the incorrect grade level will be moved to the bottom of the list for the correct grade level.
Note: If you are looking for information about enrolling in GHC for the current 2024-25 school year, contact the Attendance Office at attendance@ghcTK12.com.
