Families and students interested in GHC must apply through a lottery application to attend an independent charter public school.

This year, ALL TK-12 applicants interested in attending GHC and regardless of their home address must submit an application.

The lottery application window for the 2024-25 school year will open on October 2 at 9:00 a.m. and close on December 1 at 3:00 p.m.

Only one (1) entry per student is allowed. The applicant will be disqualified if more than one application is submitted, or if falsified or incorrect information is provided.

An enrollment application must be submitted for each sibling. Applicants with a sibling graduating in June 2024 are not eligible for a sibling preference.

Late Entries

Applications may be submitted after the December 1 deadline and will be considered after the scheduled January drawing. At that time, late applications will be placed on another, late application waitlist in the order they are received. Applicants on the late application waitlist will be contacted after the original waitlist for those who applied on time has been exhausted.

Admitted and Waitlist

From the January drawing, a list will be created of those students who will be offered admission and those who will be on a waitlist. Students who are being offered admission will be notified approximately one (1) to two (2) weeks after the drawing. Students on the waitlist will be contacted by email as openings become available.

COVID-19 Vaccination and Updated (Bivalent) Booster

Vaccination against COVID-19 is one of the most important strategies for preventing severe illness and optimizing the outcomes for those who become infected.
